About the Horticulture course?

Level 1 or Level 2 Horticulture in Practical Skills. Gain the knowledge and skills you need to work in the Horticulture industry which includes working with plants, maintaining turf as a grounds-keeper, designing gardens and parks as a landscape artist.

Entry Requirements for the Horticulture Course

If at school you need to be aged between 14-16 years. To be on a Study Programme you must be aged between 16-18. There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, however you will have an informal interview. Start dates are flexible.

How are they assessed?

Qualifications are assessed at work or in a simulated workplace. Creating a portfolio of evidence through observation and assignments.

Apprenticeship in Horticulture, or progression to Level 3 Vocational course; Horticulture and Land Management
